I’ve mentioned Muhammad Yunus here before. He won the Noble Peace Prize in 2006 with the Germeen bank for their implementation of Micro-finance. Now the Germeen Bank is working in Egypt assisting 2 Micro-finance institutions.

Grameen Foundation partners with 2 microfinance institutions in Egypt

And now for some intresting news with regards to microfinance institutions: Muhammad Yunus, the 2006 noble peace prize winner for his work in the Garmeen bank with regards to Mircocredit and financing, is also a founding board member of Grameen Foundation.
